Risk Management

The Operational Risk, Health, Safety, and Liability Management unit works closely with the MSI committee to oversee the MSI insurance program, as well as both Safe Grad and TADD Manitoba programs. The Director works closely with schools to ensure student and staff well-being through safety education, guidance and awareness programming and issues advisement on loss mitigation related to fire, flood, theft, or other hazards.

Materials posted here provide guidance and direction in major risk management areas. They are not intended to replace school board policies and procedures, but to supplement them by outlining the risk management considerations which should go into making the decisions on day-to-day school activities.
